Playing Career & Honours

I was scouted by Arsenal FC at the young age of 7, where I enjoyed 11 years at the club. As a graduate from their academy, I then signed a full time 2 year scholarship with the club at aged 16, eventually being released at 18 years old. During my short full time career at the club, I trained with the Arsenal First Team on numerous occasions and also featured for the Arsenal Reserve team.

At 15, I was also called up to represent England at schoolboy level. During this time we won multiple international tournaments, including the Sky Sports Victory Shield, playing a key role throughout as a full back.

More recently, I decided to pursue a playing career overseas, which lead to valuable experiences in both America (FC Buffalo) and Australia (Sorrento FC).

Coaching Experience

My first coaching role was at Premier League Academy, Arsenal FC, where I began learning my trade as a ‘Technical Coach’ for 2 years. This role was a huge learning curve for me, gaining knowledge from some of the best academy coaches in the country, and coaching some now very successful current Premier League stars.

I have coached numerous times overseas, firstly, I was employed by ‘UK International Soccer’ for 4 months, which enabled me to travel throughout America, from California to Utah, coaching various age groups, as well as different playing abilities. Additionally, during my playing experience in Australia, I was appointed Head Coach for Sorrento FC U16’s which competed in the National Premier Division.

Moreover, whilst studying at University, I was honoured to take on the Head Coach role for the men’s football team, which competed domestically against other Universities around the country.

And finally, in the Summer of 2022, working with The Professional Footballer’s Association (The PFA), I completed the FA Level 3 (UEFA B License) in Coaching Football.

Education

With a lack of good fortune within the professional ranks, I worked closely with The PFA, who assisted me on a successful scholarship application to Southampton Solent University.

Here, I enrolled on a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Studies degree, which heavily consisted of Sport Psychology and Sports Coaching. Managing a heavy schedule of being a full time student athlete, as well as studying and coaching, I proudly achieved First Class Honours.
